I've heard talk that the Nelson Brothers are doing a reality show in the fall of 2009.  Anyone have any details?

I have a feeling it will be a very pathetic show.

It depends on how it's formatted.  If it's done in the spirit of Ozzie and Harriet, it will be enjoyable and entertaining.  If it's done in the spirit of "reality" based shock value, it will totally suck.

I hope it never comes to pass. In 1997 Matthew, Gunnar and their older sister Tracy were going to do a "1990's style sitcom. it was going to be them playing themselves." Now 12 years later, the twins are planning a "reality" show with their younger brother, whom by the way is an executive at a record company. A show about how brothers interact. Yet, with one brother living in the south and two living out west. logistically that is quite challenge in itself. Personally, I think "reality" show are tawdry and will not be watching if they ever do it. Fourteen years of marriage and divorced? Poor track record. Lost repsect for them. Their grandfather was admirable, not them!

Here is Gunnar's latest endeavor:  http://www.nbcconnecticut.com/around-town/events/Its-Late-With-Gunnar-Nelson-70195867.html

There again....It seems Gunnar seems to speak too soon.  What happened to the reality show?  What about Nelson's new album, scheduled to come out in September 2009...where is it? Now this cheeze whiz?

The "It's Late" talk show that he is trying to get was recorded as a pilot, and scheduled to see if a network will pick it up. Yet, with the "1930's cigarrette girls" dressed in very short shorts and stilettoes in late 2009 is quite sexist.

Just because he hosts it doesn't mean he wrote, hired, and did the wardrobe for it.

Regardless of who wrote, produced the pilot of the talk show, he didn't have to do the tawdry show.

I saw a show put on by the Nelson Brothers aboard the Rhapsody of the Seas this past week and it was really really good.  I heard them say they were going to do a reality show in the fall of 2010.
