   The SMU degree certificate is printed on watermarked paper.  The ceremonial seal of this University is gold, and is embossed at the bottom of the 290 x 220 mm page.  The degree title is hot-stamped in gold and the official signatures of the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, President, Provost and Dean of School are in black.  A serial number is printed on the reverse side of the degree certificate.
   The SMU postgraduate diploma certificate is also printed on watermarked paper.  The university logo appears at the top of the 290 x 220 mm page.  The diploma title is hot-stamped in gold and the official signature of the Provost is in black.  A serial number is printed on the reverse side of the postgraduate diploma certificate.  For joint diplomas, the logo of the partner institution and authorized signature will accordingly be printed in line with that of SMU's.
