    Steve recounted his usual day to reporters (although it was in the late 1990s and might have altered since). According to his declaration all his documents were retained on a server and he carried none of them with him. He has very high-speed access to them either from his home or office computer, which entails that his office is at his home too. He stated: “when I'm not in meetings, my work is completely counting upon on emails. So I'll work a little before the children get up. And then we'll all have a little food together and complete up some assignment and glimpse them off to school. If I'm lucky I'll stay at home and work for an hour because I can get many finished, but oftentimes I'll have to arrive in my office. I generally get here at about 8 or 9.” He also added that often he can call any individual even late at night if he has a brilliant concept and likes to share it (especially since the advent of iChat AV). Therefore one can say that he works all day, but that doesn’t signify he is at the office all the day long. Besides that, he had a very powerful sense of family duties: when Maria Shriver a friend of Steve jobs asked him to arrive to the ceremony inducting him into the California Hall of Fame, he said he wouldn’t on the assertion that it conflicted with his family night (he came eventually). So apparently his family has changed how much time he dedicates to his work, just like numerous other businessmen.
