    Pesto is a derivative of Provençal sauce sauce (which is based on olive oil, garlic and basil). By using the pesto ingredients is preserved for a long time, so you can prepare and save for that special occasion.

    ingredients

    350 grams of noodles

    fresh basil

    2 cloves of garlic

    Pine nuts (if you can find, are not essential)

    parmesan cheese

    Olive oil

    preparation

    Pounded in a molcajete (mortar, for our international readers) basil, garlic and pine nuts until they form a paste. Salpimenta mix and incorporates grated Parmesan cheese. Mix well and add olive oil until you form a thick sauce.

    Cook the noodles in boiling water with a little salt. When the pasta is done, mix with the room and season with salt and pepper. The dough should have a greenish hue.

    Finally, decorate your plate with a sprig of basil and some whole pine nuts. When serving, add a little more parmesan cheese to boost the flavor.

    Pair it with a glass of red wine and will be a perfect dinner.
