Astronomers have continued to search for the unknown going where none have gone before staking a claim for their king, for their country and for themselves. But the advancement in technology has made their job much easier, cooler and enjoyable.  Better the telescopes and greater the passion more the discoveries.

From worlds down the street like Mercury and Mars to those beyond our solar system, Astronomers discovered loads of newbie’s this year and I would love for everyone to contribute to a list that can be called the Top Astronomy Discoveries of 2008. ok maybe not everyone but at least those who love star track and the outer world.
