Cocktail is basically an alcoholic drink containing two or more than two ingredients. The most important ingredient of cocktail is spirit. Cocktail without spirit doesn’t fulfill the definition of cocktail. Main ingredients of cocktail are spirits, sugar, water, distilled beverages (gin, vodka, whiskey, tequila, or rum) and bitters. Meaning of word cocktail is mixed drink that contains alcohol. You can also add other ingredients in it like honey, sugar, cream, liqueur, juice, fruit, sauce, milk, spices, herbs or other flavorings. It is the most demanding drink of the world. Pubs and bars specially add different kind of cocktail in their menu in order to entertain their customers. There are so many types of cocktails. It varies from region to region, bartender to bartender or from ingredients to ingredient. As you know it is difficult for me to provide you a complete list of cocktail types. So I’m providing you a list, hopefully it will help you in a best way.
