   Umer Gul who is considered to be the best bowler for Pakistan in recent times, somehow failed to deliver in an all important match, a world cup semi-final against India. The only thing which he was doing wrong was that he was trying to bowl very fast but the direction wasn't right. Nevertheless, it can happen to very good bowlers and he will learn more with experience.

    Well he surely was the best bowler for Pakistan when he was having a support from the other end form bowlers like Amir and Asif but now there is a deficiency of such quality from a side effected Umer's performance as well. Nation was expecting some magical spells from him but he failed here to mention that the pitches were more favorable for spinners that might be a reason here. But still his performance at least should not be below average here it was. 

   
   

   So there need to be questions from him but the answer would be as always be that it is because of the fitness problem. But the real issues is that only one out from two teams can win and that is what happened as always. Every match is not there to win and to be number one you need to play your best game which India proved and won the contest.
