Although ordinary CityRail trains serve the two stations, one for the International Terminal and one for the Domestic Terminal, in fact the line is privately owned and operated. The fare for using this convenient mode of transport to the city centre (including King's Cross) is reasonable. The journey takes about ten minutes to Central Station and about eighteen minutes to King's Cross. If one uses a weekly or daily ticket to enter or exit at one of the airport stations, one is charged a supplement. The stations are located in the Domestic and International terminals, just follow the “Trains” signs and if you have luggage use the lifts that go on to the platform. The city stations are all very close to all the main hotel areas.
