    it would appear your piano was manufactured in the later half of 1892. Value is predicated mostly on condition. Pianos of that age have usually had some restorative work done. To what extent restoration has been applied and the quality of that work will give you a better sense of value.

    On average pianos of that age in an upright form are sold for between $100 and $600. If there is unique cabinetry or exceptional tonal properties associated with this instrument, the value can be more.

    serial number 448369 kimball upright.  has a closed front that makes it a box square unlike most spinets.  Has Chicago Worlds Fair logo stickers on it.

    also shows $565 above the embossed/carved wood serial number.

    I would like to know anything about it. I have never seen a piano like this before.  Was it at the Chicago Worlds Fair indeed?  Does the dollar sign and 565 mean what it cost new?  Just anything about it will be of interest.

    I have a Kimball upright player piano Sept. 24, 1987 serial 275268. How do I find parts. I am in need of two wood front pieces. The one that has the doors on it to the roller. The other, the bottom that covers the pedals. If you can help me out or guide me in the right direction, it would be very much appreciated.

    I have a Kimball Piano with the number 191969 on the back and a patent for 1895 with a golden colored seal for a merit reward it is a wonderful piano with rich tones just needs some strings and tuning in really good condition as body wise . It is a rich brown color. would you know what area the value would be
