Respected sir/madam
we have an organization named Uganda Talents and Development organization (UTADO) which is a sociation non-political, religious Charitable organization, being registered under Wakiso District and confirm to the national Guidelines
AIMS:
The overall aim of the organization is to promote and improve the social, bmoral, Economic standards and invironment awareness of the target group i.e youth, women, people with diseabilites (PWD) and men
OBJECTIVES
a) To promote integral development PROJECT and TALENTS for the youths and community at large amongst themselves
b) To mobilize, sensitize and create environmental awareness amongst the YOUTH.
c) To mobilize, coordinate, educate, and guide the YOUTH society in order that they gain confidence in their existence.
d) To fight illiteracy through providing adult education programs and secular education to destitute children.
e) To fight ignorance amongst society in the fields of Primary Health Care (PHC).
f) To guide the population especially the needy about modern methods of agriculture so as to improve on house hold incomes.
g) To introduce community based tourism thus creating room for the population to explore other parts of the Country and even abroad.
STRATEGIES AND ACTIVITIES
In order to achieve the aforementioned objectives, the organization will carry out the following activities:-
(i) The organization we have a main office in SEGUKU PARISH in order to tap the target group mostly the YOUTH.
(ii) To guide the target group in order to discover that God loves them and thought they are in such situation, they still posses talents which can be fully utilized for self-reliance.
(iii) To organize workshops and seminars so as to guide the target groups about income generation.
(iv) To introduce improved methods of Agriculture by supplying improved seeds, diseases free varieties of crops and establishing mother gardens.
(v) To guide farmers about environmental conservation / preservation and introducing agro-forestry ventures in all catchment areas.
(vi) To guide the population in applying animal traction; mini irrigation schemes, fish farming, poultry farming, apiary, rabbitry, piggery e.t.c.
(vii) To introduce community based tourism in which the target groups can carry out exchange visits in order to explore their Country and learn from one another.
(viii) To establish camping sites and identify cultural heritage as a mean of consolidating unity amongst the target groups.
(ix) To enter into arrangements with any international bodies, governments, authorities, national bodies, public organizations, co-operations, companies, or persons and accept grants of money and of land, donations, gifts, subscriptions and other assistance with a view of promoting the aforementioned objectives. Taking any gift or property subjects to any special trust which may be prescribed by those in partnership.
(x) To borrow or raise money that may be required by the organization upon such terms and upon such security as may be deemed advisable.
(xi) To establish foundation cetres where activities like moral rehabilitation can be carried out. This will further include childcare; forestry and adoption render financial support and assistance to the organization and limited to Ugandan citizens only.
(xii) To initiate, manage and administer projects designed to improve the life of the beneficiary communities through improving their levels of agricultural food production, general health education, literacy and income.
(xiii) To engage in activities designed to achieve social and economic development of the needy community.
(xiv) To train people in various aspects of community development such as community based health care that is; prevention, simple care, family planning, agriculture, water supply, saturation e.t.c.
(xv) To stage drama shows so as to pass messages to the community. This could be on any topical issue relevant to the achievement of the stated organization objectives.
(xvi) To establish health facilities where the following activities can be carried out (a). Curative ventures, (b). Immunization, (c). Health education, (d). Nutritional guidance, (e). Pre-vital and antenatal services, (f). Sexual education, (g). Social welfare counseling, (h). Reproductive health, (i). Family planning, (j). Guidance to safe s*x and awareness to Sexually Transmitted Diseases.
(xvii) To receive and administer gifts, offerings grants and other contributions for the work of relief rehabilitation, reconstruction and development of the Country.
(xviii) To print and establish any pamphlets, article, newspapers, periodicals, books or leaflets that the organization may deem desirable for the promotion of its objects.
(xix) To adopt such means of making known the activities and services of the organization as may seen prudent and in particular by circular, by of art interest, by publication or books and periodicals and by granting prises.
(xx) To take such steps by personal or written appeals, public advertising in the press, on radio, television, cinema by purchase and exhibition of works meetings or otherwise as may from time to time be deemed necessary for the purpose of producing contribution to the funds of the organization in force of donations, animal membership subscriptions or otherwise participate in such other things as have for their objectives the raising of money for the purpose of the organization in order to fulfill its objectives.
(xxi) To employ experts, advisors, coordinators, administrators and other for the implementation of the objectives of the objectives aforementioned.
(xxii) To purchase or take on lease or by any other means acquire any movable or immovable property in Uganda or elsewhere for any estate interest whatever and any rights, privileges or buildings, machinery, images, plants, live or dead stock or things whatsoever.
(xxiii) To employ with or without remuneration such offices, workers and other persons as the organization may deem fit for the carrying out of its objectives.
(xxiv) To procure the organization to be registered or recognized in any other state and by any foreign country or place.
(xxv) Engage in any other lawful activity incidental or conducive to the attainment of the objectives of the organization.
(xxvi) To guide the girl child in the following ventures:-
(a). Hope after rape, (b). Adolescence awareness, (c). Forestry and adoption.
(xxvii) To create a revolving fund in order to boost the project so initiated at individual or group basis by especially by the Youth, Widows, Single mother and any vulnerable society in the zones of operation.
