    Following are the disadvantages of 2.5inch Downpipes.

   
   

   
       
   • normal exhaust consists of 4.2.1 pipes meaning 4 pipes fromexhaust manifold turn into 2 then into a single pipe, while in downpiping it become 4.1 four pipes turn into 1.
   
       
   • emmissions become high as the catalyst convertor in between is removed for free flow of air. which is Illegal in some countries.
   
       
   • More noise.
   
       
   • No low RPM torque.
   
       
   • aftermarket modifications may cause warrenty to void.
