To apply to NMIT as an international student you must be 18 years of age or older. You are an international student if you do NOT have permanent residency in Australia and if you are on a bridging visa.
Students applying to study a vocational course (Advanced Diploma, Diploma or Certificate) must apply for a a student visa subclass 572.
Students applying to study a degree course (either as a single course of study or packaged with a diploma course) must apply for a student visa subclass 573.
Students applying to study an ELICOS course only will be given student visa - subclass 570.
Generally speaking students are required to have completed Australian Year 12 or the recognized equivalent in their home country to be eligible for entry into an NMIT course.
Some courses have additional requirements. Refer to the Courses section of this website for specific details.
