JUN AKIRA SUPRA is a machine that is manufactured so that it can participate in the BONNEVILLE National speed trial in August, 2001. It goal was to beat the previous record set by JUN. Renewal of this record was completed in a fascinating way. The fastest top speed was recorded as a TOYOTA vehicle (reaching the Top speed of 249.292mph [401.20km/h] and the average speed was 240.192mph [386.55km/h]). The areo parts are then changed into the peculiar form which is in consideration of a run in the ultra high speed region. Engine was built on a platform of two TRUST T78 turbine to produce a maximum output of 1200HP, with a max torque 100kgm. The vehicle was a monster but still it was built on a platform of a simple vehicle.

This Ultra High performance Toyota Supra JZA80 Supra was built to compete in only one place in the world in the state of Utah and it travelled all the way from the Auto Mechanic shop in Japan where it was built in Japan. This JUN Akira Supra was first to arrive in the dry lake to compete in the Nationals Speed Trials, it also challenged the current record and topped it with a speed of 249.29 MPH and an average recorded speed of 240.192 MPH becoming the fastest Toyota vehicle. This performance was the result of its unique streamlining bodywork and a 3.2 litre 2JZGTE engine with two TRUST T78 turbochargers that was mounted to the side pumping and resulting an output of 1200 HP.
