I am looking for the main reason how humans transmit cholera disease to each other. Can we get Cholera if we look after a Cholera effected person?

Cholera is not likely to be transmitted directly from one person to another as casual contact with a person who has cholera is not a major risk for becoming ill. In order to become ill with Cholera millions of bacteria are required, which cannot be transmitted while having casual contact for sure. But yes, a close contact for longer period can cause the illness. If you’re taking care of a person with Cholera, you must make sure not to use their belongings, like eating in same plate, drinking together etc.
