The Commission on Elections, or COMELEC, is one of the three constitutional commissions of the Philippines. Its primary function is to enforce all regulations and guidelines relation to the perform of elections, initiatives, referendums, and recalls. Under the Constitution, the Commission on Elections is unaligned of the Executive, Legislative and Judicial branches of the Philippine Government. It has the next functions:
Judicial functions

• to deputize, with the concurrence of the President of the Philippines, regulation enforcement bureaus and instrumentalities of the Government, encompassing the Armed Forces of the Philippines, for the exclusive reason of double-checking free, orderly, dependable, tranquil believable elections;
• to list political parties, associations or coalitions and accredit citizens' arms of the Commission.
Reportorial function
• To submit to the Philippines President and the Congress a comprehensive report on the perform of each election, plebiscite, start, referendum, or recall.
Recommendatory functions
