In a recent cable from wikileaks publications state that terrorist group Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) had planned an attack on Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi. Now from a news article: The LeT planed the plot to assassinate Narendra modi just seven months after 2008 Mumbai terrorist attack. The plan was to kill Modi was described as "operations…involving a car" in the diplomatic cable sent from the office of the Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton. The cable described that the plot on Modi was planned by a Pakistan LeT member Shafiq Khafa and scheduled to carry out by Indian LeT member Sameer Hussein. The cable sent on Jun 2009 said, "LeT member Shafiq Khafa, possibly preparing for operation, and Hussein -- an India-based Lashkar-e-Taiba member -- continued operational planning on three tasks in early June. The tasks were associated with a possible operation against Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi, the establishment of a training camp and unspecified work involving a car. Hussein would coordinate his activities with an India-based colleague identified as Sameer." I want to know more details about this  news. If someone know the details you can share with me.

Explosive espionage reports unveiled by the contentious whistleblower website, Wikileaks, have illustrated that the Pakistani terrorist outfit, Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) , was in deliberations with its Indian members in June 2009 to perpetrate the assassination of the Gujarat Chief Minister (CM), Narendra Modi.

This certainly signifies that there was no letup in Pakistan in the plotting of terroristic attacks against Indian targets, contrary to the disingenuous pledges released by Pakistan in the aftermath of 26/11 to disallow anti-Indian terrorism from being plotted on its oil.

These espionage reports of America were included in one secret diplomatic cable, which has now been divulged.  The cable asserts that the Pakistani terrorists possessed two crystal-clear objectives, one of which was Modi’s liquidation, and the other was the foundation of terrorist factories in southern India.

The cable states that Shafiq Khafa, a member of the terrorist LeT, was readying himself for bloodthirsty operations in India. He was assisted by a terrorist named Hussein, located in India, who continued to ponder the execution of these operations in June 2009. There is another ambiguous mission, which is revealed in the cable, which involves a vehicle.

The cable voices that Hussein would synchronize his terroristic plans with a guy named Sameer.   Narendra Modi is a figure broadly revered by the Gujarati populace but loathed by those self-styled Indian secularists, who analyze his commitment to Hindutva as a symbol of his bigotry.

Modi has asserted relentlessly that he has been a developmental CM ever since his election to the Chief Ministership. Colossal developmental activities have been implemented by him during the last few years, which have given rise to widespread prosperousness and stability in Gujarat.

Gujarat has procured the tag of a province that is friendly towards the national as well as overseas investors. His admirers will confess that the standard of living in Gujarat has considerably enhanced in the previous 8 years of his Chief Ministership.

Nevertheless, the anti-Mohammedan disturbances that occurred in Gujarat in 2002, in response to an Islamic terrorist outrage on Hindu pilgrims in the Sabarmati Express, has haunted Modi and has been the source of his disparagement by the so-called liberals in the Indian media.

Any assassination attempt on Modi would prove to be disastrous for the political stability of India. This leaked cable will obviously lead to the security around Modi being toughened.
