I am a student of Chemistry and have always been interested in preparation of substances. Airlock - to prevent contamination from the outside atmosphere Boiling Pot - quality pot made of stainless steel, aluminum, or ceramic-coated steel, able to hold atleast 3 gallons of liquid Bottles - about recap able 12 oz bottles for a normal 5 gallon batch Bottle Capper - hand cappers and bench cappers Bottle Caps - standard or oxygen absorbing Bottle Brush – for hard-core cleaning of used bottles Fermenter – Upto 6 gallon capacity Pyrex(tm) Measuring Cup - used to measure boiling water Siphon – to make liquid flow in receivers after fermentation Racking Cane - used to leave the trub behind while siphoning Bottle Filler – used at the tip for filling bottles Stirring Paddle - for stirring the liquid while boiling Bottling Bucket - The finished beer is placed into this for purifying before bottling Hydrometer – used to measure the relative specific gravity between pure water and water with sugar dissolved in it
