I have often heard that most of the infections that are found in human bodies happen to be either fungal or yeast infections. Somehow I see that these two types are divided into further more types that are atleast not very well known to me. Since I am not a doctor and neither have anything to do with medicine so need someone to tell me about thrush fungal infection.

When we get up in the morning, there is often a stale, pasty, bad tasting coating on the tongue. Most probably, that coating is a type of fungal infection known as thrush. Generally speaking, Candida albacans is a type of fungus naturally found in our body and a strong immune system keeps the fungus harmless, thus preventing it from growing out of control. However, people with weak immune system like those infected with HIV, the fungus grows unchecked, appearing in colonies of white patches in the mouth, throat, esophagus (food tube) and v****a. Hence, the Candiasis found in the mouth is called thrush.
