    The Credit Ombudsman Service Limited (COSL) is the external dispute resolution scheme, approved by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission, which is  free to consumers and provides an independent and impartial dispute resolution service as an alternative to legal proceedings for resolving complaints with members.
