The Legislative branch of New Zealand is unicameral House of Representatives and it is commonly called Parliament. Usually it has 120 seats out of which 70 members elected by popular vote in single-member constituencies including 7 Maori constituencies and 50 proportional seats chosen from party lists and they serve for three-year terms.
