There is no such thing as average ticket price. It depends on destination, promotion, number of people flying together as well as when you buy it. Yes, ticket prices changes when the time to fly is closer. If you want to know prices, just go to their website, key in the dates and destination. You can select +/- days option to compare the prices for various pairs of dates (to and from)
