   Your applying for work, ask yourself a question, what exactly am I applying for, shipping & receiving, logistics, office, maintenance mechanic, floor supervisor, manager, supervisor, accountant, floor sales (specify which department), advertising, janitorial, inventory control, customer service, cashier, merchandising....then apply your educational strong points that apply, public relations, problem solving abilities, innovative ideas, ability to take charge, accepting directions, hours available to work, working on holidays, follow up and reporting customer complaints, writing skills, displays, problem solving, ordering, stock rotation...relate all the skills you have to become an asset to the company, clean attire and no advertising on your shirt, well groomed, polite and courteous, your resume should show prior experiences to the position your applying for, check back to see if the position has been filled, are there any other positions you qualify for, be on time for interview *no excuses*.  I hope this will assist you in finding employment.  Gordon Hood
