For experts to determine future inflation rates, they use an index of 2000=100 for average consumer pricing. For this, averages are for the given year rather than end-of period. In using this formula, 2008 had a Pakistan inflation rate of 12.00%. From that time to the end of 2009, a 73.15% increase occurred, putting 2009’s inflation numbers at 20.775% and placing the country for worldwide rankings at number 6. With this same formula, inflation rate is expected to drop substantially to 6.00% at the close of 2015
