   Digital camera technology's origin can be  directly traced to  the same technology that recorded television images.The first digital cameras for the consumer-level market that worked with a home computer via a serial cable were the Apple QuickTake 100 camera was invented in February 17 , 1994, while  the Kodak DC40 camera came on scene in March 28, 1995, the prized Casio QV-11 with LCD monitor, was introdused in the late 1995, and Sony's Cyber-Shot Digital Still Camera came in the limelight in 1996.
