The difference between toads and frogs revolves around their appearance, which is a result of their habitat. Toads are known for bumpy and dry skin which results from arid and dryer conditions. Frogs on the other hand are more partial to water and moisture, hence their moist skin.

Based on the above, the largest member of the true toad family is the Cane toad which can measure over 6 inches and weigh over 5.5 lbs. the largest frog is twice that size. For more on that creature, click the following: http://www.talkqueen.com/What-is-the-largest-frog-in-the-world-q190499
