What is the length of the littlest pet shop code for VIP?

I have the code from a new littlest pet shop where you pull it out by the tag but the code length is invalid according to the site....it is 16 charcters.

Please help me too. My daughter just got one for her birthday. I am going crazy with this. My code is also 16 numbers & letters. It doesn't say it is taken, it just says invalid code length. I keep trying my code starting in different places so it is down to 12, but nothing works. I am going crazy and my daughter is so disappointed.

you have to sign in to lpso.com instead of the hasbro site. the 16 digit number only works on www.lpso.com. i have a headache now from trying to find how to do it....but thought i'd share to save everyone else one :) you then have to create a parent account and thru that set up your child's account.
