    As you can quickly guess, there can only be one longest highway in the world, and that unique distinction goes to Australia's Highway 1. This continuous network of highways literally reaches all corners and major cities of the Land Down Under and spans a mind numbing 14,500 km. Highway 1 servers over 1 million people a day seeing as it has no excuses to not do so given its size.
