Almost all banks in India sell cold coins under their brand name. Gold coins are presently sold through more than 1100 branches across the country covering all major cities and towns. Price is based on DAY to DAY price of gold. The price is exclusive of Value Added Tax/Sales tax.  Gold is sold in the form of round shaped coins for 2gm, 4gm, 5gm, 8gm and 10 gm. Gold Coins of 20 gm and 50 gm are being sold in the form of ingot at select branches.

SBI’s Gold coins are of 24 carat pure gold of 999.9 purity. The coins come in a tamper proof certicard packs with assay certification, signifying the highest level of purity as per international standards.
