I have been hearing about cell phones for about 20 years, since year 1991 when for the first time I happened to saw an advertisement on TV. At that time there was no terminology like today we know as cell phone and if I could remember correctly it was called Instaphone or something likewise. Today I know what a cell phone is and what a wireless cell phone service is. However, I would like to know that what does it mean by wireless cell phone service since all the cell phones are wireless right from the start. I would appreciate a nicely written brief answer.
