What problems does a Civic Hybrid have?

I am thinking of buying a Honda Civic Hybrid, but I have heard by a few that it becomes a menace because of the problems, can you please detail me about the problems.

     according to customer reviews about the Civic hybrid, it has the following problems.

    1. Most Hybrid users have complained about the CVT Gear box, customers have reported their problems of the CVT gear box after about 25,000 to 60,000miles on the dial.

    2. CVT gear box feels like as if its slipping, the car gets a jump or hop when it launches.

    3. Check Engine light goes on after 100,000 plus miles.
