Aristotle is one of the most influential philosophers and his philosophy teachings covered ethics, aesthetics, logic, science, politics, and metaphysics. Aesthetics deals with art, beauty and taste. Metaphysics deals with the nature of being and the surrounding world. Aristotle’s teachings on physical science were influential until the Renaissance until it was replaced by Newton’s physics. His zoology teachings were so ahead of its time that they were only confirmed in the 19th century. His work in logic is some of the earliest known in the field. Aristotle was so influential that he was a student of Plato and taught Alexander the Great.
