Weymouth High School was located in a house building located near the Town Hall on Middle Street in 20th century.

A new construction to house Weymouth High opened in 1963 on Commercial Street. A large demonstration of mid-century modernism, it acquired a prestigious nationwide architectural award. It housed scholars in the 11th and 12th grades; 10th graders came to school in the Middle Street building.

The village community increased in leaps and bounds in the mid 20th 100 years, necessitating a second high school. In 1971, Weymouth South High School opened on Pleasant Street. The construction on Commercial Street became Weymouth North High School. Also in 1971, an arsonist set blaze to the initial Middle Street position of WHS, and the present Abigail Adams Middle School was constructed in its place.

The high schools were afresh amalgamated into one Weymouth High School in 1991, and this new high school was housed in the previous Weymouth North High School building.

The construction that actually house Weymouth High School opened in 2004 at One Wildcat Way in South Weymouth. This construction was the initial Weymouth South High School and most lately housed the junior high school students in Weymouth. The old Weymouth South High School is renowned as the "Maroon House." The "Gold House" was freshly assembled for the unfastening in 2004, and was constructed on the location of the old South Intermediate School. This expansion cost the school approximately USD$22 million, and took about two years to complete.

With the unfastening of the facility at One Wildcat Way, some security employees were presented to sustain alignmentamidst students. The presentation of these employees has been contrary obtained and admonished by scholars, school, and the general public since their installment.
