    Elizabeth 2 became Queen of United Kingdom which includes both Great Britain and Northern Island in 1952. Her father George 4 died in 1952 and she became Queen.
    She is the second longest serving Queen after Thai King. She is head of state of Canada and Australia as well, also she is the head of state of other 16 independent countries as well. As a constitutional monarch, her role in the legislative process is largely ceremonial.
