The Crown is used by many different companies all over the world as the company limousine. Its export to Europe begin in the year 1964. Other European countries that import the Toyota Crown are Netherland and Belgium. The United Kingdom was also home to the biggest market until the early 1980s. After some years it was also exported to Canada for few years between 1965 to 1968. In many markets the Crown had become very expensive and was replaced by Cressida . The Crown was first introduced in the year 1955 to meet the demand of public transportation in the form of Taxi, as it has 1.5 L type R engine which was used in previous version of car.
