The flag of United Kingdom is the Union flag and is also known as Union Jack. It It was first created in 1606 by the combination of flag of England and Scotland and then the addition in it was made by including Saint Patrick’s flag and the updation was completed in 1801. Wales is not represented in the Union Flag as Wales had been conquered and annexed to England prior to the formation of the United Kingdom. However, the possibility of redesigning the Union Flag to include representation of Wales has not been completely ruled out.
