Where do you keep a chicken while it is healing?

We have a chicken that was bitten by a dog. it's back has lost a lot of feathers on one side and has a couple gashes, not too deep. we disinfected it and want to know where we should keep it until it is better.

    keep it under something that has ventilation but dogs or cats can't open it. you can also keep it in your bedroom or another place that is safe from wild animals; if the dog that bit the chicken is a house pet, you should worry lot more than just your chicken. make sure to keep your kids away from the dog or get rid of the dog completely.
