    Which area in London is really expensive to set up an office depends on many things. Most of the central london is expensive, also around liverpool tube station it is also expense.  One of the newest expensive office rental area is canary wharf (well if you call 20 years old new but compared to rest of london it is new).  But don't just look at the expensive areas to set up an office but also look at where you live. if you live on one end of the city and setup an office on the opposite side of the city, even if your office rent is cheap, it will cost you crazy money in sitting in traffic and petrol cost in london is not cheap.
