   Basically, the iTunes logo is owned and designed by Apple Inc. for ITunes. The basic purpose of the entire logo is actually to convey the meaning intended and avoid blemishing or misrepresenting the image that is being intended. The logo has been designed at a size and resolution that is sufficient so as to maintain the quality intended by the company or organization, thus making sure that there is nothing like being unnecessarily high resolution. The image is placed at the top of the article in the infobox discussing ITunes, more of a subject of public interest. The importance of the logo is infact helping the reader identifying the organization, thus assuring the readers that they a right article has been reached containing critical commentary about the organization, and illustrating the organization's intended branding message in a way that words alone could not convey that much effectively. Considering the fact that it is a logo, there is almost certainly no free equivalent. Any substitute that is not a derivative work would fail to convey the meaning intended, would tarnish or misrepresent its image, or would fail its purpose of identification or commentary. Using the logo obeys certain rules and regulations as set by the United Stated copyright.  Any misuse of the logo may not only fail to convey the intended message but will also be a serious offence.
