    Ronaldo, the Brazilian one, has scored the most World Cup goals with 15. He was on the 1994 World Cup team but did not play. He scored 4 goals in the 1998 World Cup. He followed that up with 8 goals in the 2002 World Cup in which Brazil won and he won the Golden Shoe award for the tournament top scorer and was the runner-up for the Golden Ball award for top player. He scored 3 more goals in the 2006 World Cup to surpass Gerd Muller as the all-time leading goal scorer in World Cup history.
