Some say she is a notorious woman at the New York Folklore Society who wrote Legend Quest. She is variously known by college and high school students as the "Witch from Folklore", "The Curse of Satan" and "Demon from h**l" is considered eerie even by teenagers who are looking for thrills in the night. She mixes an evil brew of conjectures and spun tales of haunted houses, blood, hearses, coffins and candles. In one incantation she states like a spooky Witch on a hilltop in a Shakespearean play:
"I do know that when you (are) outside a house ... AND the number of candles lit in the windows corresponds to the number of people in your car ... drive away quickly (or your) own deaths may follow"...

This "Witch from Folklore" speaks such incantations while stirring her boiling cauldron containing a mixed-up brew of death, blood, coffins and candles. That such a monstrosity of a person can exist in the midst of our modern world is beyond belief. This is no Shakespearean play people this "Demon from h**l" is actually living right here and now in the real world and is currently spawning her evil in both books and on the internet.

Can you believe that this "Curse of Satan" actually promotes on the internet that electric candlelight's seen in a window "like the Menorah candles the Jews use on Hanukkah" actually "Represents a Symbol of Death". It is a Mitzvah (commandment from God the Father) that Jews "publicize God's miracle" by lighting a Hanukkah Menorah candle each night during the eight days of Hanukkah and even normal Folklore Tradition tells us that burning a candle represents the safety and security of the "Light of God" within our home.
Unlike this "Demon from h**l" normal people consider an evening "candlelight dinner" at home in front of the fireplace with a fine "red" wine a representation of "elegance" and "living the good life".  But this "Witch from Folklore" only associates such candles with "death". This is one moribund and screwed-up woman.

Imagine some innocent guy taking this "Demon from h**l" out on a date to a fine French restaurant. Just imagine what would happen after she sat down, removed her pointy black hat and then saw "blood red" linen napkins as place settings on the table or a glass of "blood red" wine or heaven forbid a "lit candle" on her table?  This "Witch from Folklore" would probably immediately take out a wand from her black purse and "cast a spell" and turn this poor innocent Prince into a Frog. The same way she has turned innocent Christians and Jews into Satan worshipers driving by normal homes looking for and "counting candles".

Her name is Elizabeth Tucker and works at the English Departmet at Binghamton University. Supposedly she got a grant from the Government and the University to slander peoples religious beliefs.

I would like to know how our Government can give taxpayer money to this person to grossly interfere in both Christian and Jewish religious beliefs by her saying the Holy Day candles in our windows "will bring death to people" who see them?

Found Elizabeth Tucker's Legend Quest site here: http://www.nyfolklore.org/pubs/voic32-1-2/legend.html

Yes ... she clearly states that upon seeing candles in the window people  ... "know that their number is up." (And) "If they don’t drive away quickly, their own deaths may follow."

And the Government gave this woman a grant to say such things?

Why hasn't she removed the above inflammatory site off the internet and posted an apology to both Christians and Jews in her book?

She knows it is causing harassment and vandalism damages to that Roman Catholic family in Massapequa yet she has left it posted on the internet since 2006 ... what kind of person is she?

By Elizabeth (Libby) Tucker defaming a moral Roman Catholic family living in Massapequa by calling their private home "h**l House" and "Satan House" and telling people in books and on the internet that seeing candles in the windows of "their private home" will lead to death has obviously set herself up for a very large lawsuit.

A jury in Florida has recently awarded a woman $11.3 Million dollars in costs and damages after slurs were made ruining her character on an internet talkboard. She had been subjected to 10 months of ugly criticism on the internet. The award is the largest verdict of its sort relating to individual postings on bulletin boards or blogs and was handed down by a jury in Broward County, Florida. The sum included $5 Million in punitive damages.

Satanist Libby Tucker tries to make candles that represent the light of God into something evil.

But when God said "let there be light" he banished "darkness and Satan from his world" ...

Those who run in fear from candles like Libby Tucker are Satan's spawn.

Those who love candles as symbols of God's loving light are the childern of God ...

Test yourself to see if you fear candles by going to the google site below and listen to an Angel sing(Lara Fabian):
