    A place in the sun is an excellent film. The cast is a whose who of the 1950's with stirring performances by Montegomery Clift, Elizabeth Taylor, & Shelly Winters. Elizabeth Taylor seemed like the perfect dream, the perfect escape and brought him into her world of never having a dull moment and worrying about anything again.
