Why do I see wrong title of my page in my google search results?

I checked the forums for similar problems, but I didn't see any proper answer that addressed my particular issue. I need to resolve this issue ASAP. Help

    The first line of any search result is the title of the web page. This text is generally taken from the contents of the tag for that page. Occasionally Google will pull the title from the anchor text of a link to that page.
