Why do I still see the competitive ads even after the Adsense filtering?

I have just filtered the adsense ads but I still see them and I was wondering the reason behind this. Can anyone help me out

    It usually takes about 30 minutes for your ad filtering changes to take effect, so you'll continue to see ads for these sites on your pages for a little while. If filtered ads are still appearing after a day, please contact Google Adsense.
