Why does In-Page Analytics returns an error with Non-Standard Characters?

I am using analytics for my page and want to know the cause of error because of using the non-standard characters in it

    In-Page Analytics uses the Website's URL option in your profile to identify the page in your site on which the In-Page Analytics report launches. If the URL for your website uses characters that are not part of the standard UTF-8 character set, you cannot use that URL when you create a profile, when you enter a URL with non-standard characters, Analytics returns an error.
