Why does my rolex keep stopping?

    There is a thing that if you take it off for more than 12 hours that it will shut off but there is a tool that you can get that when it is off of your person it will move it so it never stops running my grandmother was complaining about this I do not know what it is called but let me know if anyone knows what it is.
