     Before Abraham Lincoln became the famed President of the United States, he had already earned his nickname by living up to such a standard of decency. As the owner of a general store, Lincoln apparently would travel to return monies that were accidentally overspent in his store or loose leaf tea that was not given in the correct amount.


    Those types of values and actions speak to the quality of a man and it earned the tall leader of men the moniker 'Honest'.
