I am a big fan of Pakistan Cricket team. The test series between Pakistan and West Indies is about to begin, so I was thinking what do the stats say about it? What do you think will be the outcome of the series and please share your views on it.

The question on every Pakistani Cricket fans mind is will history repeat itself or Will Misbah will lead Pakistan Cricket team to change history and the course of the team? Pakistan team has never ever been able to beat the West Indians a test series on their home ground.

Pakistan and West Indies have faced each other in test match series being played in west indies for a total of six times. Out of which West Indies has won four of them and Pakistan been able to draw 2 of the test series. The most memorable was the one played in 1987-88, when Pakistan team led by Imran Khan and West Indies being led by Viv Richards succeeded to put up really close show and the series ended in a draw.

Currently both the teams are close to each other. Both of the teams are labeled as the most unpredictable teams in the world. Pakistan is ranked 6th in ICC Test ranking while West Indies is just one slot down to be Ranked as 7th with a point difference of 15 separating them. As far as the players are concerned, Pakistan is short of their best bowlers and West Indies are short of their best batsmen.

Pakistan team being led by the now Captain Misbah ul huq has a chance to rewrite history by wining this series and increasing their lead on West Indies in the Points table.
