    India has won the 2011 world cup by beating Sri-Lanka. Indian team was rocking from the start of the world cup and they proved it after the cup. Basically its the consistency that clear out your way and let you through. 

   
   

   Indian team was having the best batting line up along with some quality bowlers the only thing which was not there with them in past few years was fielding which Kristen helped them with and now they are the world champions of cricket. 

   
   

   2011 was the year of Asia to raise in the world cup and India, Sri-Lanka and Pakistan were all in very good touch and they prove to the rest of the world that they are the best and they will be the best in cricket.
