I have a question related to the windows 7. The scenario is that I have installed windows 7 on my PC and I have some XP programs to run on it. For this reason I would like to know if someone has any idea that will windows 7 Home premiums run XP Programs.

Windows 7 includes a compatibility function just like in Vista. However, it is a little more stable as compare to the Windows vista, particularly when it comes to running windows XP. Most XP-compatible programs will be just fine as-is without the additional "XP Mode" with any complication hopefully. It would mainly be things like small businesses with custom applications that might need the add-on. Unless there's a good reason needed, one would need it for some unique application(s) there is absolutely nothing that a user should worry about. When we talk about some features in Windows 7, it is XP Mode. However, it should be noted that only available for Windows 7 Professional and above, and not for Home Edition and Vista users. This is because Windows 7 Home Premium and Windows Vista are not licensed to run the free XP Mode download from Microsoft. If a user has Windows 7 Professional or Windows 7 Ultimate, he gets a fully licensed version of Windows XP that will run inside Windows 7 through Virtual PC. However, the XP mode is primarily for business users who want to run legacy apps in Windows 7 that otherwise only work with Windows XP.
