   The Pakistani wicket-keeper batsman Zulqarnain insulted Pakistan by giving some very awkward statements about Pakistan Cricket. He went on to prove that the Pakistani Cricketers are perhaps not players but criminals. He vowed to disclose many realities about Pakistani players but then all of a sudden went out of sight. He gave an impression of being dictated by someone to spoil image of Pakistan Cricket and also to support the spot fixing case against three Pakistani players. The whole PLOT was created to make Pakistan Cricket suffer and went a long way to make spot fixing scandal decision going against the Pakistani players. Nevertheless, despite going through all this mental stress and loss in one day series both against England and South Africa, the Pakistani players went to play the kiwis in New Zealand. After some shaky start losing the T20 series initially, the green shirts regrouped and went on to win the test series 1-0 as well as the One Day series by 3-2 which proved to be a positive sign just before the world cup 2011. On the other hand India lost their One Day series against South Africa in South Africa, which somehow exposed their vulnerability. Still the Indians were projected as favourites for the world cup 2011 which somehow didn’t seem realistic. As a favourite team to win the World Cup, the recent past of a team should be containing some big wins. Although not very bad but projecting them favourites to win world cup 2011 was a bit too much.
